The letter:
Sweet child,
Tell Mary to order you four a seated carriage at 10¼ and let Lili know you will be ready then. Before will lunch with me at 1.00. If it's nice the revue is out of doors.
Won't you wear warm things under your white jackets and skirts? And white hats? How lovely it was to see our beloved Friend. I'm glad you had him so long to yourselves. 1000 kisses.
Mama
Come to telephone at 9.10. Baby in his sailor suit.
