I was so pleased to have your letter, and now I begin on a sheet of my own paper to write to you — upside down alas! Froggy misses you. I think very much [of you] & Charlie too — if he could speak! only his spirits get the better of his sorrow when he goes out.
We send you & dear Papa much love, also to dear Grandmama, Uncles & Aunts.
